Maria Javiera Maino Gonzalez

Curator of the Exhibitions Area at the National Subdirectorate of Museums, part of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile.
She has worked on the conceptualization, management, and execution of 6 permanent exhibitions in public museums over the past 10 years, which have received national and international recognition in graphic design, lighting, and overall display.
These exhibitions are characterized by their focus on conveying content, messages and values through a variety of resources such as collections, interactive tools, graphics, audiovisuals, new technologies, among others, with investments of about $2 million per project.
It also worked on the development of digital products to promote awareness of state museum collections and helped create the Chilean Museum Registry (www.museoschile.cl), a virtual platform that collects statistical information about the country’s museum spaces.
