Enrico Vincenzo VICENTI was born in Rome on April 16, 1961. He graduated in Political Science at the La Sapienza University of Rome. He is an italian career diplomat. He worked at the Italian Embassy in Sana’a, at the Italian Consulate General in New York, at the Italian Embassy in Madrid and at the Permanent Representation to International Organizations in Geneva. After holding the post of Diplomatic Advisor at the Ministry of Health and then at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, on 4 October 2016 he was appointed Secretary General of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO.
