This meeting aims to take stock of the current situation, valuing achievements and opening a dialogue on future prospects to more precisely define the role and skills of this professional figure.<br \/>What are the job opportunities for museum and heritage educators? How is the recruitment of these professionals nationwide? What is the professional context in which these professionals work?   <br \/>Facilitating dialogue on these issues among experts in the field will be AIEM &#8211; Associazione Italiana Educatori Museali, the first professional association in Italy representing museum and heritage educators. Since 2021, AIEM has been engaged in the process of legal recognition of this professional figure, bringing to public attention the specificity of this sector with a strong interdisciplinary vocation. The museum and heritage educator, by deploying his or her specific knowledge and skills, represents an essential link between cultural heritage and publics, actively contributing to building meaningful and transformative relationships between heritage &#8211;
